Program Overview:
Every child deserves safety, love, and opportunity. In Arusha, Mwanza & Kilimanjaro hundreds of street children face daily struggles—homelessness, hunger, and lack of education. Our Street Children Program provides shelter, education, and emotional support to vulnerable youth. As a volunteer, you’ll offer care, mentorship, and hope to children who need it most. Whether teaching basic literacy, organizing sports activities, or simply being a positive role model, your presence can change a child’s future.

What You’ll Do Daily:

Core Responsibilities:

Arrival & Orientation:
- Airport Pickup: Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Mwanza
- Accommodation: Volunteer house near the shelter
- Training: Child protection policies • Trauma-informed care • Swahili basics
- Hours: 8:30 AM–4 PM (flexible for outreach work)

- Always ask “Unahitaji nini?” (What do you need?) before helping
- Incorporate storytelling to build trust
